The 9’3 Kima cooks in big waves. It is very fast and makes sections effortlessly. The board turns easily and the narrow nose does not catch at all. It is a nose for advanced riders, but the advantage is that going out past the break, it is very easy. When lying in the prone position with the paddle under your chest, this board is very quick – almost like paddling a surfboard. The diamond tail helps in small waves, especially on flat sections and doing cut-backs.
